“Study Sessions” is a creative fundraising effort to support the exhibition costs of Anj’s solo show at Bellarmine University for Kentucky’s Louisville Photo Biennial opening October 11 at the McGrath Gallery.
Study Session Location/Studio Accessibility
Sessions will be taken at Ashley “Anj” Johnson’s home study in Winston-Salem, NC. Address to be disclosed at the time of scheduling. Study is accessible via staircase only. Cost & Payment
Due to space restrictions, up to two people are permitted to be shot in the study at one time.
Study sessions are donation-based with at least $20 required to reserve a session. Donate here first, then book your reservation using the link below. Donation is due at the time of the scheduling by credit card, ApplePay or PayPal and is non refundable. Sessions can be cancelled or rescheduled at any time.
Photo Package Includes:
15-minute session time
2 - 5 unique edits; package may also include a complimentary geo-edit. “Geo edits” are edits with multifaceted shapes built into the image.
One complimentary 3.9 x 2.4 inch wide Polaroid given at time of session.
Edits delivered within 7 days of shooting.
Session Length & Expectations
All Study Sessions are 15 minutes in length and scheduled to give just enough time to transition seamlessly between sessions. Please arrive on time to respect both the photographer’s time and the time of those coming after you. Anj will only shoot those whose names are on the form during reservation.
Children of all ages are allowed; Please reference galleries on this site as a visual style guide to help manage your visual expectations. Anj is not a traditional lifestyle photographer.
During the session, backdrops or props will be available should you choose to use them! You are welcome to be as creative as you’d like in the time allotted or have Anj direct you to build something beautifully unique. Nudity is permissible however must be covered in detail via meeting with Anj before your booking.
